Extra Thick Silicone Countertop Protector Mat

Ease of use

I have marble countertops and they etch easily, so I wanted them better protected. I had bought pre-cut mats and they worked okay, but just did not cover enough area. I have now ordered 4 rolls to cut to fit my spaces and have been very pleased with the results. It is easy to cut the material even though it is a full 2mm thick, the material seems to be heat resistant, but I am still careful when sitting hot items down, and since I ordered the translucent the colors of my countertops are still visible. I only have a couple of weeks of usage to this point, but am very happy with the product so far.

I have an old wooden surface on my center island and had concerns of hygiene so I ordered this silicone mat roll. I was worried that the mat would shift around and need to be realigned constantly but we've been using it for a couple of weeks and not a bit of trouble. Cleaning the surface can be something of a bother but there's a trick to it. Since the silicone is not slick, a sponge or rag drags a bit when wiping so I used a very wet soapy microfiber cloth and then took a window squeegee to scrape down it towards my kitchen trash container. VOILA! Clean and dry in one swipe, no towel drying needed!

Fantastic product

I cut this down to the size I needed and then used command stick on clothes pins to hang it on the wall behind an air fryer. It has completely protected the wall. There was so much of the roll leftover, I saved it and use it for cooking constantly. I work dough on it, spread out cookies to frost, or can unroll it and line up numerous hot pans instead of messing with multiple trivets. It's one of my favorite multipurpose items for anything hot or sticky.

BEST counter protector

When I first moved into a house, no one ever explained that you might need a counter protector, so my original countertops over the years became very scratched. Hence, when I remodeled and had new countertops put in, I immediately got this silicone Matt to cover underneath all of the appliances. They blend in beautifully and they do a great job there just the right thickness!

Fits My Needs

We have a small bar in our basement that I've made into an incredibly small kitchenette. My husband is a bit messy making his morning coffee and there are grounds all over the place. The cabinet I've been using to hold his coffee maker, coffee grinder and toaster, is part of a vintage bedroom set that belonged to my maternal grandmother and is older than I am -- meaning it's about 70 years old. I needed something that would protect the top as well as make it easier to clean up after him. This has been working quite well. I could only wish it were a bit wider -- which is why there is a cookie sheet under the toaster.

Perfect for my use.

I purchased this mat to protect my wooden table from my roll-out plate warming mat, which, despite its labeiing and little silicone feet, heated up underneath and also caused condensation underneath. This mat is perfect! Exactly fits the plate warming mat, lies flat, is very inconspicuous, and totally protected my table. I now store this silicone mat and the plate warming mat rolled up together. Indispensible!

Protects Counters and Cabinets

I've had these for awhile, now. They are slip resistant, blend into the cabinet surface, and are very easy to clean. I use one under my air fryer/toaster oven and another to protect the cabinet while making coffee. It prevents marks from heat, liquid and surface scratches on my wood cabinets. They are very easy to use. I highly recommend them.

Mats for hot small appliances

I purchased them to go under an air fryer and toaster oven. Recently got new quartzite countertops and, though very heat resistant, I didn't want to take a chance at overheating and cracking during chilly weather. People in the South had said " no problem " but in colder areas there was cause for concern in winter. The mats are a perfect color for both the stone as well as the stainless appliances. They are virtually invisible and now I won't be worried about dramatic temperature changes. I actually put 2 under each appliance. Probably overkill but I didn't want to give this issue a second thought in February.

I love this product!

I recently updated my kitchen with new countertops. I use appliances such as an air fryer oven, a crock pot, a toaster, etc, all of which become warm on the outside while cooking. I purchased one of these mats to place under each appliance. They look great, protect my counters from heat, and keep my appliances from slipping and scratching the countertops. Great all around product that gives me peace of mind!

great quality and thickness

i was kind of sceptical because i bought some of these silicone mats years ago and i payed a lot of money for nice thick mats for my needs, covering up my induction top so it will not scratch . i needed some more now and i thought , give it a try not thinking they be worth it. to my surprise they are just like the once i have, very nice quality , just as thick and perfect. i will most like buy some more because they are awesome to have around for all kind of things. these mats came rolled that is just perfect ! it took about 1/2 year to finally not see where my " expensive" mats was folded during shipping. seller is very nice with a little note in the product. thank you so much for the good affordable product, its like a breath of fresh air in times like now.

This item matches the hype. Best of all, it cleans like a dream. The color choices are nice, the thickness is great. I can’t find a thing to complain about.

Not as expected

This silicone mat would probably work for underneath appliances that get hot or slide around, so I give it 3 stars for that reason. I needed something to use for food prep and to protect my new granite countertops. It sticks nicely to the countertop, but every wipe, every time you touch it streaks are evident and the surface just doesn’t stay looking nice. I’ve returned mine and will look for something that better serves my needs.

Love it

I love this mat! I have purchased it several times to use as a heat/water barrier for a coffee bar. It’s pretty easy to clean, and is heavy enough that it does Role up or slide around once placed. It is a mat, so it will move but not in any way that is annoying.

Cover for counter

We were going to get a piece of countertop for our pantry, but found this large silicone heat resistant mat and decided it would work for us. The material is thick and did not have creases when unrolled.

My dog is agile enough to jump on the credenza to look out the window :( He added some terrible marks before I thought of this. Saves the furniture and he can't slide off and get hurt. Not too noticeable and easy to remove when company visits. Game changer for a naughty dog.

Can’t remove air pockets

I have a Corina counter and the mat is thick, has streaks and air pockets that don’t come out and look terrible. I would not buy again.

Protects the countertop

The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to clean with a wipe. It's fine if you spray and dry with paper towel. Does the job it's supposed to do. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Does what I need it to do

I use this to cover my countertop next to the burners. It protects my countertop from everyday use. The white/clear blends in with my white countertop. You don't even notice that it's there. It's not as easy to clean, but a little water and a bit of soap will do the trick. You have to wipe up liquids, stains, etc.. right away, otherwise, it will leave a mark. It works for what I need and I can replace it at a relatively decent price.

Perfect size

I bought a few of the kitchen shelves and wanted to ensure the surface was protected from the heat. This silicon mat that you cna cut to size was perfect. It is non slip so the appliances that you set on top do not slip and slide.

Works great for heat protection on my counter tops

We added some cabinets to our new home. They have stained butcher block tops. I was worried they would get scratched. We ordered this and cut it in half put it on 2 of the counter tops. They work for what we need. They do seem to collect dust. They are easily cleaned. If I cut in them I use a cutting board. They can't be cut on. Glad we ordered them.

Works for what I’m using it for.

An issue I was worried about was laying flat after being delivered rolled up…..no problem. It lays flat. I’m using it as a mat on top of a wooden work bench. I’ve yet to get a lot of use but I wanted something to keep fluids/liquids from soaking into the wood of my bench top. I think it will work fine for light duty type of man cave work it will see.

Order out of guilt

I used my friend’s toaster oven and neglected to remove the bread and buns that were sitting on top. Needless to say, the end result was bad. I felt terrible that I damaged my friend’s oven! I ordered this awesome silicone mat to place on top of her oven to prevent this from happening again. It came in a big roll and we had some left over to use for other things. Great quality. Great thickness. Easy to work with.

Works to protect my washer

I got this to put on top of my white washer to prevent scratches when things like laundry and groceries get tossed on it. It’s translucent white and really blends in. It stays put and looks great. Because it’s silicone though it attracts a lot of dust/lint so it feels gritty unless it’s wiped down a lot

Protects countertop

I renovated and recently bought a countertop microwave. The appliance does not have legs! The bottom of the microwave would damage new counters so I got this to protect, looks clean and tidy in my kitchen!

Perfect size and color!

Purchased the extra large, beige mat to protect the most used area of my natural concrete countertops! Nice quality and I love how well the shiny surface sticks to my counter! It’s easy to remove but won’t move at all while using! Cleans easy with dish soap and looks beautiful! I have not tested the heat resistance yet!

Perfect

I needed to have a THICK silicone mat to cut down for my Uv resin jewelry making process. This is perfect. So far, the ONLY problem is that it - in combination with some jewelry findings, I am supposing - seem to have a static issue. Still a 5 star product, but it’s interesting no other thinner silicone mat has had the problem. One person found this helpful

Heat resistant

We have white granite countertops and the translucent mats blend in very nicely, barely noticeable. However the best feature is the heat resistance. We can put our pots from the range top or dishes from the oven directly on them without any issues! Very happy with this find!

These Work Very Well

I placed one beneath our Air Fryer and will cut the 2nd. one to place on top so that I can place items on top without damage. Good Quality, thick and cleans up with just a warm wet cloth.

I cut the mat to cover half of a ceramic glass stove top with a center downdraft. This provides needed counter space. I use it daily for a cutting board. It protects the stove top, wipes clean easily, does not siled around, and is black, like the stove top. I highly recommend the mat.

I bought this to protect a white melamine countertop from stains. The product arrived quickly and packaged well. It was rolled up for shipping, but did not curl at the edges after laying it out. The product is a nice heavy weight and thickness, and stays in place. A bonus is that it keeps my cutting boards from sliding around. I'll order a second one.

Depends On What You Are Using Them For

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted to try these as placemats and they failed. It’s not that they don’t block food from getting on a table. The problem is the way food adheres to silicone, rings left by glasses are difficult to get off and if you get any moisture underneath them, they will ruin your table. Is something that you might want to use for crafts, or any protection that uses them on a temporary basis they can be fine.

Exactly what I wanted

I ordered this to slip under a cutting board or use under supplies for a project like painting to protect my quartz countertop. It keeps the cutting board from moving around and is perfect for setting those items needed for a little project (screwdriver, measuring tape, hammer, etc) so they are not sitting directly on the counter. I love this item and would buy again

Looks good, no defects. I like the translucent quality, and the (almost) tacky feel. Purchased for the bottom of a bird cage. I can wipe it down every night, and the finches don't slip around. Have been using paper towels on the floor grate, but they like to play with it and drag the paper towel into their water. Newsprint is a bit too slick for them. I think this will work.

Useful for the purpose I need

The thing is great, it is big and easy to wash. I had to cut it up on the top right corner to fit into my sink to prevent scratches and help easier to clean the sink area, and avoid trapping left over food in the sink hole.

The product arrived very quickly and was carefully wrapped. There is a bit of a chemical smell at first, but the smell disappeared after an hour. (I also washed it with mild soap and water, with probably helped, too.)

Works Great!

I used it under my air fryer oven which is on a wood table and it works fine. Like most things now it is pricey for what it is, but that is no surprise so it is what it is. This is especially useful for such a purpose as I got it for because it is a flat sheet and the oven has "feet". The manufacturer of the oven suggested silicone mats for just such a thing. As long as it is on a flat surface as opposed to say a wire or mesh type of surface like on many bakers racks it works well. It is easy to cut to size and with the selection of colors it should serve well for a long time.

Perfect for what I needed it for

Bought this as a mat to cover my desk for clay projects and other crafts. It is durable, non stick, and easy to clean up any wet or dry clay. I haven’t gotten paint on it yet so I’m not sure if it stains with paint. Bout this Jan of 2023 and it’s still going strong!

It worked for what I needed it for.

I didn't use this for what it was created for. I used it as a pad under the door in my cat's bedroom. She was scratching the threshold rugs which were sewn together and ripping them apart. I needed a pad like this that was thin so I could close the door over the top of the pad. It works! It covers up the ripped rugs and stops her from scratching and making more damage.

Many uses!!

Didn’t realize how much I’d use this: stirring and scraping bowls — sure; but it’s THE BEST for scrambled eggs, pan gravy, and all sauces. Easy to clean.

I'm loving this mat

I use this on my bathroom vanity which is white wood. The mat is also white so I thought it would get all stained from makeup, but it all just wipes right off.

I was looking for a practical roll up Silicone Counter Map to roll out dough. It is smooth, easy to roll up and easy to clean.

Not for me

If you are more of a baker or make pastries this might be perfect for you! I used this as kind of a protector to my large wooden cutting board that is always on my kitchen top and it was great for an easy use and easy clean up but I cut a couple things on it and just tore it to pieces and had to throw it away.

Counter savers!

We have white quartz counter tops that are supposed to be indestructible but you aren’t allowed to put hot things on them and they have definitely gotten wine bottle rings. Very annoying but I digress. These mats cover a large area and blend in with the counter so as to be aesthetically pleasing.

Love it for cooking

I use this to cover the half of my gas stove that I'm not using when cooking so I limit the amount of splatter I get on my iron grates. It also works as a spoon rest while cooking. It's held up really well so far and is easy to clean.

I placed it on the top of my hanging pot rack to keep pot lids from falling through. It works perfectly.

It's Okay

I got this for the Crock Pot. It does keep the area clean and anything put on it will not slide, but it doesn't prevent the heat from heating up the counter, though the description said it is heat resistant. I was disappointed in that. I used other things before that were worse, but this can be used for other things, so that is good.

Durable, thick pad, excellent protection

These pads are excellent in quality. They offer decent heat protection from warm items, not hot, but are thick enough that they provide excellent impact protection. They are also non-slip which can be very helpful.

Excellent surface protection

This mat was exactly what I was looking for to protect the surface of a new bedside cart I got for my small bedroom to put coffee, dishes or electronics on. The size happens to be perfect for my cart so needs no trimming, but that's very doable. It adheres just enough on the underside to not slide on the cart top. Likewise the material will keep a cup from sliding around. The mat is rolled up but lay flat immediately. I'm delighted with the product, packaging, and shipment. Plan to look at the company's other items now!

Mat works fine as a counter protector and is easy to clean. I liked it so much I bought four more. When I placed them side by side I found they were not cut completely straight with a slight gap when two are placed together. Same situation on the others. You can see a very small area along the center on each side where the cut is just a bit rough. You would think flipping one of the mats would fill in the gap but it did not. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded that they would bring it to the attention of their team and work to fix the issue. Let’s hope. . Have to wipe down with a wet cloth a lot because any dust or debri stick to the mat. But overall, good mat for the price.

Not as non-slip as some silicone mats, but does the job

Am using this on top of my microwave and had to cut out a section for the vents. It was easy to cut and looks nice and neat. Dishes don't slip around when I take them out of the microwave and put them on top for a few moments. It's not as non slip as other silicone kitchen mats I have, but it does the job.

Great as a reusable paint palette!

I am an artist and don’t like the waste created by throw-away paper-based palettes. This silicone palette is the perfect gray hue and can be used over and over again with acrylic paints. I cut my first mat in half because it was so big but my second one will stay whole because I have a huge painting to work on next.

Perfect heat resistant

Used 2 large silicone counter mats on top of a vinyl covered table and under buffet servers. Worked great! No damage to the vinyl.

Does the Job and Looks Nice

Though I have not put anything real hot on it yet, I bought it primarily to protect my kitchen countertop from getting stained when I'm juicing and when I'm cutting up turmeric. It does the job and looks nice. I bought the first one several months ago and finally realized a second one would also help to protect the countertop. The first one I bought months ago is still in real good condition so it's nice to know they last a long time.

Item just as described. It's bigger than I thought it would be. I'm using this as traction under my feet when I am getting in and out of my power recliner. It keeps your feet from slipping. Works great for this, don't know how it works for the intended purpose. Materials seems strong and durable. Should work well in the kitchen.

I just bought my second one because it took awhile for my husband to realize it’s not a cutting board. We have quartz countertops, and this mat is perfect for protecting them from hot plates, lids, etc.. it also keeps cutting boards from sliding. I love it. Very nice product

It’s almost a design element. Well finished sits flat doesn’t slide isn’t sticky wipes easily clean and fresh no matter what has been on it. Smooth silky finish blends into counter top, slim and good looking l. Doesn’t look utilitarian but is especially durable. Love it. About to order another!!!

great kitchen counter protector

I have bought 4 of these for my kitchen. I don't use then as pastry mats; I used them to cushion and protect my counters. They work very well. They stay put and deaden the sound when I place something hard on the counter. The seller ships them quickly and they are packaged well in paper which can be recycled. Yay! No over-packaging with plastic waste!

Great for art table

I have used smaller silicone mat for my grandchildren to use an art mats. I bought thi one for my art table. The table has a linoleum top but it is easier to roll up the mat and take it to the sink to wash it, or to dump debris in the tray.

perfect to protect delicate surface

My friend just put in delicate, expensive counter tops and it was nerve wracking to help in the kitchen when I visited. These mats made us both happy and we are back to enjoying cooking together. Perfect, exactly what I wanted. Easy to clean and rolls up small.

Nice mat!

Pastries and dough was very easy to roll out using less flour. Only issue was the static when picking up the mat to clean and flour bounced off due to static. Next time I'll try misting my counter to reduce the static. It was easy to clean and store too. Next purchase will be for a larger mat to roll out larger amounts of dough.

Wow this is great!

I highly recommend this large silicone mat and wonder why I didn't buy one years ago. After checking other ratings and comments I ordered this mat and love it! It stayed put while I rolled out many cookies, easily wiped off, and after drying I put it away in the plastic bag it came in. Best Buy and deserves more than 5 stars.

Protects Its Surface but Not Itself

It does exactly what it's supposed to, protecting my desk from burn marks. I've used it with my electric hotplate, and so far, there's been no damage to my surface, which is great. However, while it keeps my desk safe, it does show marks on the mat itself over time. If you're looking for a mat that works well, this is a solid choice. But if aesthetics matter to you also, you might want to consider other options.

Excellent product

I bought the mat to place under my Keurig coffee maker to keep splashes and small spills off my counter top, and I couldn't be happier with the product. I can actually think of several other uses for it, and may have to order a couple more!

Great for laundry room

The color is as pictured and the mat didn't have any sort of odor. I guess I thought it would be a little thicker? I'm using it atop a stand-alone cabinet, underneath a toaster oven. The mat hasn't flattened out yet (after 2 weeks) but hopefully that main crease will flatten out soon.

Nice mat. I actually bought this for the bottom drawer of my stove. The bottom of these drawers look terrible over time. This mat not only aesthetically improves this, but also keeps my frying pans from sliding.

I use this in my RV as I have a swing out extension for my countertop with a very slick top. This stops things from sliding AND I don't have to worry it the item is hot when I place it on it.

I use this as a mat under the coffee maker and the toaster. It is a little tacky if you try to wipe it off with your hand, but if you use a damp sponge it's very easy. Stays clean and looks good. Note that this is not clear. It is translucent. Mine is on top of a white painted surface so I don't care, but you may .
